You can transfer funds between the various share and loan accounts
under a single member number in five ways:
- On CU Online, by
clicking on the “Transfers” button under the “Transactions” link on
the left side of the main page. Simply select the account you wish
to transfer funds from, then enter the amounts you wish to transfer
into the destination accounts, and click “Accept.”
- Via “Stars24,”
our 24 hour audio response unit, by calling (713)460-1661 or
(800)998-0978, option 8.
- By calling
our telephone call center at (713)460-1661 or (800)998-0978. There
may be a fee associated with this service. Please refer to the
fee schedule
for more details.
- In person with a
live teller at one of our four branch locations.
- In person
at a
Credit Union Service Center
or shared branch location.
How do I
transfer funds between primary member accounts?
You can transfer funds between member accounts by calling the credit
union at (713)460-1661 or (800)998-0978.
In certain circumstances, your account can be set up with the ability
to transfer to another member account. Ask to speak with an
Accounting Department representative for more details.
When are transfers credited to my account?
Since the credit union operates in a “real time” environment,
transfers initiated directly with the credit union, such as in person,
over the phone, or via CU Online or Stars24 are posted immediately.
Other transfers, such as by automated clearinghouse (ACH), or wire
transfer, are posted as soon as possible after receipt during business
hours. Transfers received after normal business hours are posted on
the next business day.
How do I create and change automatic transfers?
You can create and maintain automatic transfers in CU Online. After
logging onto CU Online, click on the “Auto Transfers” button in the
“Transactions” menu. From here, you can manage your existing
transfers, or create a new transfer. Transfers can be scheduled to
recur on a variety of frequencies:

Annually (once per year)
·
Semi-annually (twice per year)
·
Bi-monthly (every other month)
·
Quarterly (four times per year)
·
Monthly (twelve times per year)
·
Bi-weekly (every other week)
·
Weekly (every week)
How can I
transfer funds to or from my accounts at other financial institutions?
You can transfer funds between your credit union accounts and your
other financial institution accounts via one of two methods.
- Wire
transfers-these
transfers can be completed during the same business day that they
are requested. To initiate this type of transfer, you must contact
the sending institution. You can initiate a wire transfer from your
credit union account by calling our offices at (713)460-1661 or
(800)998-0978. There is a fee for this service. Please refer to
the
fee schedule
for details.
- ACH
Origination-these transfers can be
completed on the next business day as long as they are requested
before 11am (central time). After 11am, the transfer is completed
two business days later. You can initiate an ACH origination
transfer to or from another financial institution. To request this
service, call our offices at (713)460-1661 or (800)998-0978.

You can make deposits to your credit union accounts in several
ways:
- In person
by check, cash, VISA or MasterCard cash advance, or other acceptable
negotiable instrument at any of our four
branch locations,
- By night
drop at any of our four
branch locations.
- In person
at a
Credit Union Service Center
location,
- By ACH
Origination,
- By wire
transfer,
- By direct
deposit,
- By

When
will my deposit be credited to my account?
The credit union operates in a “real time” environment. This means
that when you make a transaction directly with the credit union either
in person, online, or over the phone, it is posted immediately. Some
delays may be experienced when you use a service center location, as
these locations utilize a program similar to an ATM network to process
transactions.
Deposits placed in a night drop depository at one of the credit
union’s four branches are posted by 9am. Transactions places in the
depository after 7am at the Northwest Freeway location will be posted
on the following business day.
Other transaction methods have various time frames. Please speak with
a credit union representative for more details.
Why did you place a hold on my deposit?
Common reasons for placing a hold on a deposit include, but are not
limited to:
- Accounts with
frequent overdrafts.
- Accounts which
have been opened for a short time.
- High dollar
deposits which exceed the total available balance in the account.
- Deposits of
checks that have already been returned unpaid.
- The financial
institution that the check is drawn on has notified us that the
check will be returned.

How do I set up direct deposit?
To set up direct deposit, please contact the human resources or
payroll department at your employer. If you are requesting direct
deposit to a checking account, you may give your employer a voided
check or deposit slip from your credit union account. If you are
requesting direct deposit to a savings account, you should contact the
credit union at (713)460-1661 or (800)998-0978 for the correct account
information.
How can I make withdrawals?
You can make withdrawals in a variety of methods:
- In person
by teller check, cashier’s check, or cash at any of our four
branch locations,
- In person
at a
Credit Union Service Center
location,
- By ACH

- By PIN-based ATM
or debit card transaction, or
- You can request
