How do I view my balances and account history online?
Upon logging on to CU Online, the total balances and available balances of all of your share accounts will display.
You can view your account history online by logging on to
CU Online, then click on the account you wish to view.  If the transactions you wish to view are not listed on the default view, you can change the transaction dates by entering the desired date range at the bottom of the transaction list.

How much activity can I view online?

The account activity listed online is the same as what is retained on the credit union’s computer systems.  The history is purged from time to time as necessary to keep the system running smoothly.  If you need information prior to the dates listed online, please refer to your account statements.  If you are unable to locate the statement, you can request a copy of specific statements from our Accounting department at (713) 460-1661 or (800) 998-0978.  Statement copies can be provided for a $5.00 fee per statement.

Why are my “Balance” and “Available” amounts different?

Your “balance,” as listed on CU Online, is the actual current balance of funds in your account at the time your inquiry is made.  This amount includes any credits or debits already posted to your account.  The “available” balance includes any holds, including check deposit holds and debit card authorization holds, which are currently attached to your account.  Furthermore, the “available” balance may include “Courtesy Pay,” TexasOne Community Credit Union’s overdraft privilege program.

How can I download my account history?
You can download your account activity into a variety of programs.  Simply click the link for the appropriate program at the bottom of the account activity page.  TexasOne Community Credit Union’s CU Online program can download directly into the following programs:

  • Download to Microsoft Money (Versions 99 or newer)
  • Download to Quicken(Versions 2000 or newer)
  • Download into a QIF file (for other accounting software programs)
  • Download into “comma delimited format,” or CSV file (for use in spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel.

What are “Card Holds?”
“Card Holds” are holds created by authorizations against your VISA Debit Card on your checking account.  When you swipe your VISA Debit Card at a merchant for a “signature-based” transaction, the credit union’s computer system will place a hold against funds in your account for the amount authorized.  A “signature-based” transaction is one in which you did not enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN).  Card Holds are accounted for in your “Available” balance in your checking account.

When are deposits credited to my account?

The credit union operates in a “live” environment.  This means that when a transaction is completed, it is posted immediately (unless the computer system is temporarily offline).  This is true for both credits (like deposits and VISA Debit Card returns), and debits (like check clearings, VISA Debit Card clearings, and ATM transactions).

Night depository transactions are generally posted prior to 8:00 am at the Main Office, and prior to 9:00 am at branch locations on normal business days.  Items placed in the night depository during normal business hours are posted on the next business day.

How do I get information about a levy or legal order process on my account?
To ensure that all of your questions are accurately answered regarding a levy or legal orders process on your account, please call our Accounting Department at (713)460-1661 or (800)998-0978 during normal business hours.  This information is not available via e-mail.

How do I access my e-Statements?

For your protection, your e-Statements are available behind our CU Online program.  To access your e-Statements, simply log on to
CU Online, then click on the “e-Statements” link under the “Services” tab.

What is the difference between my Account Activity and e-Statements?

Both services show your transaction, but there are some key differences:

  • The Account Activity screen shows all of your recent transactions as far back as the credit union’s system retains.
  • e-Statements are electronic versions of  the monthly paper statements that receive by mail.  They include transactions for a set period of time (the statement cycle), and do not include any transactions after the closing of the statement cycle.

Will my e-Statement look the same as my paper statements?
Yes, your e-Statements will contain all the information that you received in your paper statements.  For legal purposes, an online statement is the same as a printed statement.

What is the cost to receive e-Statements?

There is no cost to receive e-Statements.

How long are my e-Statements available?

The system will retain the past three statement cycles.  All e-Statement statement cycles are calendar months.

How do I save my e-Statements?

Simply open the statement you wish to save.  The form will load in Portable Document File (.pdf) format.  Click on the “Save a Copy” icon in the Adobe menu.  In the “Save a copy…” dialog box, select the drive location you wish to save the statement to, as well as the file name for the statement, then click the “Save” button.

What if I want to cancel my e-Statements and receive paper statements?

To cancel e-Statements, you should make your request in writing, in one of the following methods:

  • In person at one of the credit union’s four branch locations.
  • By fax to (713)460-1759.
  • By mail to TexasOne Community Credit Union, Attn:  Accounting Department, P. O. Box 41308, Houston, TX  77241-1308.

Your request should include the following information:

  • Your full name,
  • Your member number, and
  • Your daytime telephone number.

If you make your request before the 20th day of the month, your next statement will be mailed as a paper statement.  If your request is received after the 20th of the month, that statement may be sent as an e-Statement, but the following month’s statement will be mailed as a paper statement.  Remember that some accounts receive paper statements quarterly.  These statements are mailed in the first few days of a new quarter (January, April, July, and October).
